Role: Strategic Product Consultant
iPad App for Retail Catalog – Home Screen:
Functional Overview:
- An application for browsing and bookmarking catalog items for eCommerce.
- Initial release would be for iPad only followed iPhone, then Android tablet release and Android phone release (For Android need a list of leading target tablets and phone specs supported as Android allows for locked or underpowered devices.)
- Support browse-able views of all existing categories
- Pull data for weekly updates
- Allow clients and distributors to personalize their catalog by tagging the items that they have along with the items that they want.
- Log-in (to existing web accounts)
- Manage account functions
- Social sharing, printing, share with friends, email list to myself.
- “I want list” tied to linked account and/or shopping cart.
- Notifications: Integration with IOS notifications for things such as new product updates, new catalog and sales.
